PRESS RELEASE – TUNGASUVVINGAT INUIT CELEBRATES NATIONAL INDIGENOUS PEOPLES DAY

OTTAWA, ON – On June 21st, a momentous celebration took place in the heart of Vanier, as Tungasuvvingat Inuit (TI) hosted a community event to commemorate National Indigenous Peoples Day. The celebration took place at 297 Savard Avenue and was open to everyone in the Ottawa community. Festivities included, throat-singing, country food (cultural food), Inuit music, and cultural contests and games.
